Giving For Kingdom Work

Partner with Newport Anglican church financially to help grow God’s Kingdom in and around Newport. Newport Anglican is funded only by the generous donations of God’s people.

Electronic giving details can be found in our weekly email for regular members. If you would prefer to give in person, you can place your donation in the locked box at the back of church on Sundays.

Why We Give

Giving is a response to God’s generosity in sending Jesus to rescue us (2 Corinthians 8-9).

All believers are partners in the Gospel (Philippians 1:3-7). As such, we contribute our time, our gifts, and our money. When we give, we do so generously and joyfully (2 Corinthians 9) to provide for those in need (e.g. James 2) and to financially support those who teach us God’s word (1 Corinthians 9).

Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
