New to Newport Anglican?

What should I expect?

When you come to our 8AM or 10AM service you will be welcomed and given a name label.
The service includes bible readings, a sermon (bible talk), prayers, and singing (8AM hymns, 10AM contemporary music with a band).
Both services run for roughly an hour.

After both services there is a chance to get to know us and enjoy morning tea.

If you have children, please find information here about what we have to offer.

Where do I park?

Parking can be tricky on a Sunday morning, particularly in summer! If you cannot find street parking, there is a time-limited parking area just down the road, behind the shops.

What should I wear?

There is no particular dress code for any of our services. Wear clothing that you feel comfortable in.

Where do I sit?

You may sit at the front, middle or back of the church! Wherever you are most comfortable. If you need assistance finding a seat, one of the welcomers at the door will be glad to help you.

Are your church services accessible to people with disabilities?

Our church building and our main hall have ramp access and the doors can accommodate walkers and wheelchairs. We have an accessible toilet behind the church building.
Large font bibles are available at the welcome desk.

We hope to see you soon, if you have more questions, please contact us.
