Giving For Kingdom Work

Partner with Newport Anglican church financially to help grow God’s Kingdom in and around Newport. Newport Anglican is funded only by the generous donations of God’s people.

Many of our members give by electronic banking. This allows a regular and reliable income for our church’s ministry expenses.

Why We Give

Giving is a response to God’s generosity in sending Jesus to rescue us (2 Corinthians 8-9).

We are partners in the Gospel (Philippians 1:3-7). As such, we contribute our time, use our gifts, share with others and commit to pray. Another way we support the growth of the Gospel is by giving money. We are called to provide for those in need (James 2). We should also support those who teach us God’s word (1 Corinthians 9).

The bible calls us to give generously and with joy (2 Corinthians 9).

Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
